Mortality Coverage: This coverage option provides traditional, full mortality for death from natural causes or humane destruction as a result of a life-threatening injury, accident, or disease.
Term Options: Annual and short-term coverage options are available.
Annual Rates: 5.5% to 8.5%
Short-Term Rates: 3% to 5.5%
Indemnity Payout: Pays 100% indemnity
Policy Minimum: $250
Insurable Species: Beef Cattle, Rodeo Cattle, Bison, Camelids (Alpacas, Llamas & Camels), Swine, Goats, Sheep, Elk, Dogs & Exotics (Giraffes, Cape Buffalos, Zebras & more).
- Veterinarian examination is required on all cattle $50,000 +, Alpacas $20,000 +, Sheep & Goats $25,000 +, Dogs $5,000 +, and all ASD Infertility coverages.
- Vet certs are waived if the animal was purchased at a public auction within the last 30 days for all above species except exotics.
Option 2
Livestock Permanent Infertility Endorsement:
Accident, Sickness & Disease Infertility (Stud bulls only, No Live Cover).
This option will pay you in the event of the male becoming, during the policy period and any applicable extension period, totally & permanently Impotent, Infertile or Incapable of semen collection as a result of an accident, illness, or disease sustained or contracted only when the male is located at a semen collection facility and during the policy period.
- Veterinarian examination & a detailed satisfactory BSE report are required from the stud facility on all bulls before this option can be endorsed.
